Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Central Catholic Falls to John Adams in First Game of Season

Cleveland Central Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the John Adams Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Ironmen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rebels 25-17 in the first set.

Cleveland Central Catholic actually scored more points across those three sets (58-57), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-22, 15-11.

The win got John Adams back to even at 1-1.

Cleveland Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Harvey on the 16th. John Adams has also already played their next match (against Collinwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
