Basketball Recap: Florence Township Memorial Takes a Loss

After flying high against STEMCivics last Tuesday, Florence Township Memorial came back down to earth. The Florence Township Memorial Flashes fell 62-49 to the Delran Bears on Thursday. The Flashes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Florence Township Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Delran, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Florence Township Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Moorestown Friends at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Delran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Doane Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
