Soccer Recap: West Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for West's offense. They fell just short of the Lincoln Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wolfpack haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

West's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4-2. As for Lincoln, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1-2.

West and Lincoln should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. West (ranked 334th) will meet Tracy (ranked 845th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lincoln will challenge Lodi at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 419 places (118 vs. 537).
