Soccer Game Preview: Hendrickson vs. Georgetown

The Hendrickson Hawks will challenge the Georgetown Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hendrickson's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Weiss 3-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Hendrickson were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Georgetown hasn't lost a match since January 8th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Elgin. Georgetown haven't had any issues with Elgin recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Hendrickson's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Georgetown, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 7-3-4.

Hendrickson was able to grind out a solid win over Georgetown in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, winning 2-0. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
