Basketball Recap: Angeline Academy of Innovation Comes Up Short

Angeline Academy of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors, falling 54-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seven Rivers Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dominic Stasio, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Nott, who had eight points.

Angeline Academy of Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Angeline Academy of Innovation will head out on the road to square off against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will face off against Belleview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seven Rivers Christian is facing Belleview at the right time seeing as Belleview is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
