Baseball Recap: Esperanza Takes a Loss

Esperanza lost against Sunny Hills on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aztecs came up short against the Lancers, falling 9-3. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Esperanza saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wiley Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Esperanza's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Sunny Hills, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Esperanza will host South East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sunny Hills, they will welcome Yorba Linda at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
