Basketball Recap: Wapakoneta Takes a Loss

Wapakoneta lost against Memorial back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wapakoneta Redskins were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 34-33 to the Memorial Roughriders.

Wapakoneta has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Memorial, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wapakoneta and Perry will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bath at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
