Volleyball Recap: Howells-Dodge's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Howells-Dodge unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Elmwood-Murdock Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, Howells-Dodge still got an impressive performance from McKenzie Sindelar, who had 14 digs and one assist. Sindelar is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Howells-Dodge's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Elmwood-Murdock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Howells-Dodge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clarkson/Leigh on the 4th. As for Elmwood-Murdock, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Wynot on the 4th.
