Baseball Recap: Ballard Memorial's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ballard Memorial came into Friday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hickman County Falcons 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bombers have posted since March 29th.

Ballard Memorial's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hunner Bealmear, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Ballard Memorial's win bumped their record up to 6-21. As for Hickman County, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-14.

Ballard Memorial has already played their next game (against Fulton County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
