DeKalb's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Stagg Chargers 41-0. The Barbs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got DeKalb back to even at 2-2. As for Stagg, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

DeKalb and Stagg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Barbs will face off against Lincoln-Way Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (159 vs. 28). Meanwhile, Stagg (ranked 317th) will meet Bradley-Bourbonnais (ranked 51st) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
