Softball Recap: Vaughn Comes Up Short

Vaughn couldn't beat Van Nuys on Friday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the first inning. The White Tigers came up short against the Wolves, falling 18-8. The loss continues a trend for the White Tigers in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.

Vaughn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Vaughn will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Triumph Charter at 2:30 p.m. on March 12. As for Van Nuys, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Glendale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
