Christ Chapel Academy took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest. The victory continues a trend for Christ Chapel Academy in their matchups with Trinity at Meadow View: they've now won seven in a row.

Christ Chapel Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amare Hicks led the charge by putting up 15 points. Those 15 points gave Hicks a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mateus Fernando, who posted ten points.

Trinity at Meadow View's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Peacock, who had ten points and seven boards. James Singley was another key player, scoring eight points and five rebounds.

Christ Chapel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-36 defeat against Fairfax HomeSchool on the 1st. As for Trinity at Meadow View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-40 loss against Immanuel Christian on the 2nd.
