Basketball Recap: Cole Lawless' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lutheran-Northeast over Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]

Lutheran-Northeast lost against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lutheran-Northeast Eagles fell 51-39 to the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats.

Lutheran-Northeast lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cole Lawless, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Feddern, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Koenig out in front who had ten points along with five assists and three steals. Alec Schindler was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Lutheran-Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-2.

Coming up, Lutheran-Northeast will venture away from home to take on Howells-Dodge on February 21st.
