Soccer Recap: Corcoran Find Success

Corcoran's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tranquillity Tigers 2-1.

Julian Solorio and Ulises Alvarez scored both of Corcoran's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Corcoran now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Tranquillity, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Corcoran will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Farmersville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corcoran's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tranquillity, they will be home for the holidays to greet Exeter at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
