Baseball Recap: Licking Heights Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Licking Heights can now relate to. They lost 11-5 to the Westerville Central Warhawks on Saturday. The Hornets' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Licking Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Pennington, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another was Grady Stephens, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Licking Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Westerville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Licking Heights nor Westerville Central have any future games scheduled.
