After losing to C.B. Aycock the last time they met, Eastern Wayne decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors strolled past the Golden Falcons with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 18-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Eastern Wayne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Izeiah Oates out in front who threw for 138 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 44 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Eastern Wayne proved: they limited C.B. Aycock to a paltry 0.7 yards per carry. The Warriors' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.7.

Eastern Wayne has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for C.B. Aycock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
