Valdosta piles up the points against Johnson

The Valdosta Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season. They really took it to Johnson for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-27 win on the road. The win was nothing new for Valdosta as they're now sitting on three straight.
Valdosta is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Johnson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Valdosta won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Warner Robins at 5:30 p.m. on December 23rd. Warner Robins is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Johnson will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Richmond Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Richmond Hill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Johnson in Georgia (Richmond Hill is ranked 116th, while Johnson is ranked 266th).
