Olive has gone 9-1 against Prue recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will take on the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Olive gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over Bowlegs. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Prue made easy work of Wilson last Tuesday and carried off a 14-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Lane Traster made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only two earned runs while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Prue got a big performance out of July Thompson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Zane Lovelace also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Prue always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Olive's record now sits at 7-8. As for Prue, their record is now 3-1.

Everything went Olive's way against Prue in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Olive made off with an 11-4 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
