Softball Game Preview: Bolivar Central Tigers vs. Jackson North Side Indians

Bolivar Central is a perfect 3-0 against Jackson North Side since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Indians at 5:30 p.m. Bolivar Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.1 runs per game this season.

Bolivar Central is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Haywood just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 7-4 to the Tomcats. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tomcats since on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Jackson North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 18-0 to Jackson South Side.

Bolivar Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Jackson North Side, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Bolivar Central's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. The Tigers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Jackson North Side, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bolivar Central continue to outrun the ball?
