Football Recap: Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan Takes a Loss

The matchup between Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan and Wagner on Friday hardly resembled the 20-6 effort from their previous meeting. The Seahawks took a 49-34 bruising from the Red Raiders. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wagner, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan will head out to face off against Baltic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seahawks will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wagner, they are taking a road trip to square off against Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks' defense has only allowed seven points per game this season, so the Red Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them.
