Soccer Game Preview: Worthington Christian vs. Liberty-Benton

The Worthington Christian Warriors will challenge the Liberty-Benton Eagles on Sunday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Worthington Christian comes in on four and Liberty-Benton on seven.

Worthington Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Tree of Life Christian by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Worthington Christian's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Tree of Life Christian are ranked 92nd).

Edison typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Liberty-Benton proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Chargers. Liberty-Benton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Edison with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jairo Colina (2), Aiden Hatch (2), and Brody Thomas.

Worthington Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-3-2. As for Liberty-Benton, their win bumped their record up to 18-1-2.
