Basketball Recap: Bishop Snyder Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bishop Snyder challenged The Rock National on Saturday. The Bishop Snyder Cardinals took a blow against The Rock National Lions, falling 81-53. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Lions are ranked fourth).

Bishop Snyder's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for The Rock National, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Bishop Snyder will head out on the road to take on Northgate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for The Rock National, they will take on Varsity Opponent on Friday.
