Hollister is 8-2 against Salinas since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Hollister's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Salinas, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Salinas' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hollister has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. It's a different story for Salinas, though, as they've only averaged .362. Will they be able to contain Hollister's hitters?

Hollister was able to grind out a solid victory over Salinas when the teams last played back in March, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Haybalers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
