Amarillo has gone 10-0 against Palo Duro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Amarillo Sandies will host the Palo Duro Dons at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Amarillo's favor as the team sits on 17 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Palo Duro has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Amarillo was fully in charge, breezing past Lubbock-Cooper 64-36. The Sandies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 89-37, which was the final score in Palo Duro's tilt against Monterey on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Dons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while the Plainsmen are ranked fifth).

Amarillo's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Palo Duro, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
