Football Recap: Laingsburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Laingsburg lost against Pewamo-Westphalia back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolfpack were dealt a 56-6 defeat at the hands of the Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Wolfpack can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 357th, while the Pirates are ranked 82nd).

Laingsburg's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Laingsburg will face off against Vestaburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack will be up against the Wolverines' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, they will square off against Dansville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Aggies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
