Volleyball Recap: Natick Takes a Loss

Natick lost against Needham back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Redhawks fell 3-1 to the Rockets. While the Redhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rockets 25-14 in the first set.

Natick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-18, 25-20, 27-25.

Eleanore Alley was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and two assists.

Natick has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Needham, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Natick will face off against Algonquin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Needham, they will square off against Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
