Soccer Game Preview: Marist vs. Wayne County

The Marist War Eagles will face off against the Wayne County Yellow Jackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marist will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Marist made easy work of Chamblee and carried off a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Marist, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Wayne County's offense. They fell just short of Long County by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Wayne County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Long County are ranked 107th).

Marist's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Wayne County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
