Softball Recap: Mount Pleasant Comes Up Short

If Mount Pleasant was riding high fresh off their 17-4 takedown of First State Military Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Knights came up short against the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles on Monday, falling 14-2. The Green Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Mount Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hodgson Vo-Tech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Mount Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Newark on the 15th. Hodgson Vo-Tech has also already played their next match (against First State Military Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
