Baseball Recap: San Marino Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

San Marino made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cathedral, but still couldn't quite topple them. The San Marino Titans blew past the Cathedral Phantoms 13-1 on Thursday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Tom?s Bilvado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chase Mena, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Parker Wilson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

San Marino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
