Football Recap: Skyline Skates Past Grand Junction Central with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Skyline over Grand Junction Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Falcons blew the Warriors out of the water with a 40-6 final score. The Falcons pushed the score to 33-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Skyline didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jackson Stanich, Diego Kheng, and Servando Morales picked up one apiece. Skyline is 2-1 when Kheng posts one or more interceptions, but 0-4 otherwise.

Skyline's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Grand Junction Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
