Basketball Recap: Pawnee Wins Going Away Against Yale

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Okemah, Pawnee was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Yale Bulldogs 40-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Black Bears have posted since December 14, 2024.

Pawnee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Yale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Pawnee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-22 loss against Hennessey on the 24th. As for Yale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-27 defeat against Woodland on the 24th.
