Basketball Recap: Accelerate Christian Takes a Loss

If Accelerate Christian was feeling good fresh off their 66-4 takedown of Plainview Classical Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Accelerate Christian Warriors fell 64-56 to the Hartley Tigers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 50-33 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Accelerate Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Hartley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-18.

Looking ahead, Accelerate Christian will challenge Providence Academy at 3:00 p.m. on February 15th. Providence Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Accelerate Christian likes a good challenge. Hartley has already played their next contest (against Channing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
