Softball Game Preview: Communication Media Arts Pharaohs vs. King Crusaders

Communication Media Arts is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Thursday. They will host the King Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Communication Media Arts has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while King will arrive with three straight wins.

Communication Media Arts came up short against East English Village Prep on Monday, falling 18-5.

Meanwhile, King got themselves on the board against Ford on Wednesday, but Ford never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Trojans. Considering the Crusaders have won 11 games by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

King's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Communication Media Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
