Basketball Recap: Brevard Blue Devils vs. Hendersonville Bearcats
Brevard hadn't done well against Hendersonville recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Brevard Blue Devils came out on top against the Hendersonville Bearcats by a score of 65-58. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Bearcats back in January, they had to take a 61-46 loss.
Despite the defeat, Hendersonville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaylon Wynn went 6-for-15 to rack up 18 points and six steals.
