Volleyball Recap: American Fork Cavemen vs. Lehi Pioneers
American Fork faced Lehi in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cavemen lost 3-0 to the Pioneers. The Cavemen's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.
Maxim Hale paced American Fork's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hale got some help from Jarett Santiago and his 24 assists.
Leading Lehi to victory were Ty Reynolds and Santiago Hernandez. Reynolds had seven digs, two aces, and one block, while Hernandez had 11 digs. What's more, Reynolds posted three kills, the most he's had since back in March.
American Fork's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lehi, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
