Preview: Lebanon Yellowjackets vs. Hartville Eagles

Lebanon is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Hartville is on a eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Lebanon Yellowjackets will take on the Hartville Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Hartville is ranked 26th).

Lebanon suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Parkview. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lebanon has scored all season.

Wyatt Carr put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Boggs, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, Hartville put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 74-40 blowout they got on the road against Willow Springs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Hartville has posted since December 8, 2023.

Lebanon's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Hartville, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Lebanon ended up a good deal behind Hartville when the teams last played back in December of 2022, losing 66-52. Will Lebanon have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
