Softball Recap: Southside Victorious

Southside came out on top against Trumann on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Southerners walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Southerners in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Chaney McCance was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Leslie Crenshaw, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
