Volleyball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mona Shores Sailors. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Sailors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-5.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Mona Shores, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Whitehall will face off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mariners will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last. As for Mona Shores, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Catholic Central on the 4th.
