Basketball Game Preview: Middleton Tigers vs. Chamberlain Storm

The Middleton Tigers will take on the Chamberlain Storm at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Middleton has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with eight straight losses, while Chamberlain will come in with six straight victories.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-22, which was the final score in Middleton's tilt against Bloomingdale on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chamberlain made easy work of Lennard on Wednesday and carried off a 68-44 win.

Chamberlain has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Middleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Middleton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Chamberlain when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 49-45 victory. Will Middleton repeat their success, or does Chamberlain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
