Recap: Sumter Christian Bears vs. Harvest Christian Academy Hawks
In what's become a running theme this season, the Sumter Christian Bears gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Harvest Christian Academy, posting a 63-18 victory on the road. The win was just business as usual for Sumter Christian, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Aj Danzy was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Sumter Christian's points. Caden Atkinson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Sumter Christian pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Coincidentally, Sumter Christian and Harvest Christian Academy will both be playing North Walterboro Christian the next time they take the court. Sumter Christian will host North Walterboro Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harvest Christian Academy will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
