Hiwassee Dam won the last time they faced Cherokee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Braves 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

ELIJAH COLE spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Hiwassee Dam's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was TRENTEN BEAVERS, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hiwassee Dam picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-9-1. As for Cherokee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
