Basketball Recap: Crossings Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

On Friday, the Crossings Christian Knights were able to grind out a solid win over the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish, taking the game 64-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop McGuinness lost, don't look at Hudson Mccormick. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 13 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isisah Nelson, who posted six points.

Crossings Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Bishop McGuinness, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Crossings Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-59 loss against Douglass on the 21st. Bishop McGuinness has also already played their next game, a 61-52 defeat against Bishop Lynch on the 18th.
