Volleyball Recap: Christ the Cornerstone Academy Takes a Loss

The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders didn't have quite enough to beat Varsity Opponent on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Defenders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Christ the Cornerstone Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-13.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Christ the Cornerstone Academy will head out to face off against Liberty Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Defenders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against St. Paul's Prep on the 28th.
