There's no place like home for Borah, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their match on Saturday with ease, bagging a 56-26 victory over the Meridian Warriors. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Borah was led to victory by Kya Davis and Amayah Defares. Davis went 8 for 16 en route to 19 points and eight boards, while Defares almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Defares a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Abi Howington, who posted seven points and eight rebounds.

Borah is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Meridian, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Borah will host Owyhee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will challenge Kuna at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kuna has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
