Eureka entered their tilt with Owyhee on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They enjoyed a cozy 44-28 victory over the Owyhee Braves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-40 back in January.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hunter Smart, who posted ten points.

Eureka has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Owyhee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Eureka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-44 loss against Lund on the 4th. As for Owyhee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-30 win against Carlin on the 4th.
