Softball Recap: Warrenton Comes Up Short

Warrenton was the 6-4 winner over Seaside when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Warrenton fell just short of Seaside by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Warrenton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scarlet Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Warrenton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Seaside, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Warrenton and Seaside will both be playing Stayton the next time they take the field. Warrenton will host Stayton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Seaside will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
