Softball Recap: Exeter Township Eagles vs. Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers

Exeter Township proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers 9-7. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mackenzie O'Brien made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. O'Brien was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
