Georgetown and Carvers Bay are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Georgetown came up short against St. James and fell 60-50. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Carvers Bay took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Waccamaw by a score of 76-64.

Having lost for the first time this season, Georgetown fell to 3-1. As for Carvers Bay, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Georgetown didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Carvers Bay in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-47 victory.
