Basketball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since January 9, 2024.

Concordia's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Texas School for the Deaf, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 13-10.

Concordia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-32 defeat against Hill Country Christian School of Austin on the 29th. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they have also already played their next game, a 72-26 loss against Vanguard College Prep on the 30th.
