It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wake Prep Academy can now relate to. They took a blow against the Perquimans Pirates on Friday, falling 59-20. The Guardians' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Wake Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Perquimans, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-2 record this season.
